SKALE x NFTrade: NFT Artist Spotlight with Luli Sulichin | SKALE

Sydney Jacobs
Content and Comms Manager

In part of SKALE’s recent partnership with NFTrade, we would like to introduce our next NFT artist in the spotlight series – Luli Sulichin. Luli is an American visual artist born in Argentina. She describes herself as a conceptual artist and draws inspiration from being a mother of two daughters and controversial societal beauty norms. Her work reflected themes like authenticity and digital identity, so the transition into the NFT space felt “seamless and organic” for Luli.

Her NFT collection, “I’m Pretty & I Read Magazines,” uses self-portraits as the focus with a banality of beauty rituals. Luli describes her collection, "The aesthetics of bodies and objects dismissed as superficial become the stagings that challenge dominant stereotypes and prevalent notions of what should be.” Ultimately, we see how societal beauty standards influence our personal decisions.

Check out Luli’s complete collection on NFTrade now!
