Web3 Game StrayShot launches Open Beta on SKALE with BigBallerBrand family 

iBLOXX Studios, the developer behind the soon-to-launch third-person shooter game, StrayShot (previously recognized as 0xBattleGround), proudly announces its collaboration with powerhouse NBA personalities, LaMelo, Lonzo Ball, and the entire BigBallerBrand family.

LaMelo Ball recently inked a staggering $260 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets, one of the most substantial in basketball history. He is a recognized NBA All-Star, Rookie of the Year, and is regarded as one of the top 5 basketball talents under 22 globally. Alongside his older brother, Lonzo Ball, initially the number 2 draft pick by the Los Angeles Lakers and an All-Rookie Team honoree, made a significant impact with the Chicago Bulls, driving them to the Eastern Conference's top seed before a knee injury sidelined him.

The Ball family is excited about the launch and the opportunity to play directly with their fans in the StrayShot game. LaVar Ball said, “My boys and me will not only dominate the basketball court, we will also dominate the battleground of StrayShot!“

The exciting collaboration introduces the basketball giants and family as in-game playable characters, set to be unveiled after the official launch of StrayShot. Distinct from the majority of Blockchain-based games, StrayShot has been meticulously crafted to prioritize a top-tier gaming experience, subtly integrating Web3 functionalities in the background to enhance, not overshadow, the gameplay. 

A Seamless Web3 Integration

• In-Game NFTs

One of the implemented Web3 features is in-game NFTs, such as skins/outfits, specialized players, and weapons. These NFTs can be won in-game, discovered in-game, or purchased in a marketplace. For example, if a player picks up a weapon they immediately have this weapon as an NFT in their wallet. 

• Invisible On-Chain Transactions

Thanks to SKALE’s fast and gas-free transactions, all of this can be executed behind the scenes without the player needing to confirm a TX in a wallet. Additionally, all critical aspects of the game are recorded on-chain in near real-time. This includes who is in the round, who shot whom, who survived, who won etc. On-chain gameplay provides transparency and trustlessness to critical events that impact rewards. 

• In-Game Rewards

Speaking of rewards, players can win in-game rewards, in the form of a native ERC20 token or in-game assets/weapons, in the form of NFTs. Players will be able to put the game’s native currency into pools to gain access to tournaments or special matches. Players can also purchase items in the game store with the game currency.
