Devcon Bogota 2022 Recap | SKALE

And that’s a wrap! Devcon Bogota’s 4-day event brought together builders of all kinds: developers, designers, researchers, client implementers, test engineers, infrastructure operators, community organizers, social economists, artists, and more to educate and empower the community to build and use decentralized systems. Although SKALE Labs Core Team was unable to be on the ground at this event, we gave away two tickets to Developers or Validators in the SKALE ecosystem or someone looking to join the SKALEverse! We are pleased to announce the two winners of the giveaway were Jonathan from anotherblock.io and Eduardo from Chain of Secrets. Congratulations to our winners!

Lastly, we asked the winners to share with us their conference experience, and here is what Jonathan from anotherblock.io had to say:

1. What were your takeaways from the conference (such as meaningful/ interesting panels, and interesting convos with other Developers?)

 Even though we are in a ”bear” market the conference is packed with smart and ambitious people building in web3. Also, zkproof’s are very popular and will be more household by devs.

2.  What were some of the event's highlights/unexpected "cool parts"?

It was amazingly organized! They had a hacker basement with dope music and a jungle room when you wanted to chill.

3. What do you think the future of Developers in web3 will look like in the upcoming year 2023? || What industry will be the 'next big thing'?

Think we will onboard more and more frontend developers since the developer experience is becoming simpler and easier. And previous web3 frontenders might pick up solidity for that sweet fullstack.

4. What is it about the SKALE Community that excites you?

I have talked to many smart SKALE people so very bullish on that. Also, zero-gas transactions are sweet!
