Crypto Colosseum: Delph's Table is Live on SKALE
Delph’s Table is now live on SKALE! The game could only exist on SKALE because it relies on many fast and final transactions. Plus, onboarding is simple and gas-free.
Delph’s Table, while not fully on chain, lives in the ethos of web3. The logic is published and all the data needed to replay the games is on chain. Through this process, we have a provable game. No one can cheat without it becoming public knowledge. When users pick where to move, that data is recorded on chain. The randomness that decides player statistics, wootgump population, and battles all comes from the built-in SKALE random number generator.
The game is multiplayer, and rounds happen approximately every 20 seconds. We rely on the impressive block speed and block finality of SKALE. If there were reorgs on the chain, or if it took a long time for transactions to get through, the game would become unplayable.
Additionally, the signup process is seamless. It works on mobile and desktop and only requires a wallet connection and a signature to play! Check out the tutorial above!
After your signature, your browser relays transactions on your behalf, so you don’t need to approve every single table transaction, and it’s open source. https://github.com/quorumcontrol/skale-relayer (we’re still working on documentation there).
We couldn’t be happier to start this journey towards Crypto Colosseum: Larva Maiorum with the SKALE community!
For more information on SKALE:
SKALE is an Ethereum native, modular blockchain network composed of high-throughput, low-latency blockchains that are optimized for Web3 user experience. SKALE chains offer zero gas fees to end-users and have advanced features such as on-chain file storage, interchain messaging, zero-cost minting, ML/AI smart contracts, and enhanced security features.
The SKALE network enables developers to deploy their own EVM blockchain in minutes without sacrificing speed, security, or decentralization. Welcome to the SKALEverse.
