Please Welcome SKALE Core Team's Newest Addition, John Frost

Originally from Australia, John started and worked with numerous startups in Melbourne, Stockholm and San Francisco.

Previous to SKALE he worked for several years as a Solutions Architect at Braintree, a PayPal subsidiary that enables merchants to accept PayPal, Venmo, credit and debit cards, and more in a single integration. All of this happening across more than 45 countries worldwide in more than 130 currencies.  John worked closely with enterprise merchants for technical architecture, partner engagements, technical subject matter expertise, API troubleshooting, strategic guidance, implementation, and pre and post-sale communication. While there he also focused on Blockchain technologies working on early Coinbase integration selling at Braintree and the digital adoption of cryptocurrencies on Paypal.

Previous to that, John worked as a startup advisor/technical evangelist at PayPal. He successfully worked within the US and Canada regions to expand the PayPal ventures portfolio, providing fintech mentorship to potential and existing portfolio companies. He often acted as a startup advisor to partners, evangelizing products and services to startup cohorts. John received his Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) degree from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

He's an engineer who likes to work on building software that solves real world developer problems and we're incredibly excited for him to hit the ground running as part of the Solutions Engineering team at SKALE Labs. In his free time you can often find him surfing along the coast or hiking throughout California, while also exploring and enjoying the city he lives in. Join us in welcoming him to the team!
